The TEM project @ IMP bioinformatics
Maria Novatchkova & Frank Eisenhaber
Relying on the data published by Croix et al, the goal of the present report is a detailed functional characterization of the published tumor endothelial markers (TEMs) from their sequences. As a result of our study a common model emerges, describing the functional relationship between gene expression and
altered behavior of tumor-associated endothelium. The majority of the TEMs have a function in the context of extracellular matrix and cytoskeleton
modifications, and are thus consistently clustering in migration
associated processes.
